The new particle analyzer LA-350 operates on the basis of static laser light scattering (acc. ISO 13320) and covers a wide range of applications. It is the ideal combination of performance, price and packaging.

The diode laser is capable of detecting particles with the highest precision and resolution in a very short time (approx. 10 s.). The wide measuring range from 0.1 - 1000 µm makes it the ideal particle analyzer for applications in research and quality control.

The LA-350 strikes a harmonious balance between high-functionality, easy operation, low maintenance, and cost-effectiveness.

Function Principle

The particle analyzer LA-350 uses Mie Scattering Theory (laser diffraction) to measure particle size over the range of 0.1 to 1000 µm. A 650 nm solid-state, diode laser is focused by an automatic alignment system through the measurement cell. Light is scattered by the particles to a 64-element detector system, including high-angle and back-scatter detectors for a full angular light intensity distribution. The thick, cast-aluminum optical bench of the particle analzer provides stable, high-precision results.
