The company RETSCH is founded by F. Kurt Retsch in Düsseldorf


1950s
Successive transfer of industrially used grinding and sieving principles into laboratory products for QC


1998
Foundation of
Retsch Technology as a profit center under the roof of Retsch in co-operation with Jenoptik L.O.S. GmbH

2000
Transfer of Retsch Technology into an independent company owned by Verder and Jenoptik

2002
New shape features introduced for CAMSIZER®

Step into online installation

2005
90 Years RETSCH:
The headquarters in Haan, Germany, are rebuilt and modernized. The extended and completely refurbished application laboratory of RETSCH and Retsch Technology is put into operation


 


1923
The company's first own piece of laboratory equipment is developed, a mortar mill, which becomes known as the Retsch Mill - the synonym for efficient laboratory work

1989
Retsch becomes part of the Verder Group

Opening up of new markets with the innovative CAMSIZER® particle sizer

2001
Appointment as exclusive distributor of HORIBA Particle Sizers within central Europe.
