Dynamic light scattering for particle size measurement on the nanometer scale
Click here for detailed information about dynamic light scattering
Particle analysis systems have been designed utilising a method of characterisation called dynamic light scattering (DLS), which provides rapid detection of the precise size and size distribution of solid and agglomerated materials with nano- and micron range particles.
Advancements in optical measurement methods have led the way in improving process speeds and supporting new areas of research. The dynamic light scattering particle size analyser from Retsch Technology uses Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) to determine the size distribution from the backscattered light.
Dynamic light scattering is utilized by the dynamic light scattering particle size analyzer LB550 from Retsch Technology.
